Apple Betty - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. Granny Smith apples
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples.
    Put in an 8 x 8-inch casserole dish. Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt.
    Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Sprinkle mixture on top of apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
