Ingredients

2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. water
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat milk for 3 minutes in a 2-quart Pyrex bowl on High.
In another bowl, mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and water.
Add egg yolks and mix.
Pour into hot milk and microwave on High 2 minutes.
Stir; cook 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir; cook 1 1/2 minutes. Stir.
When thick, add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Spread with meringue.
