Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat
1 c. sliced onions
1 c. diced potatoes
1 small can corn
1 small can green beans
1 small can peas
1 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. tomatoes or tomato soup
Preparation

Brown meat (salt to taste).
Brown onions and add to meat. Cover with water and simmer in covered pan until meat is almost tender.
Add the rest of the ingredients and continue cooking until meat is tender and flavors are blended.
Thicken slightly.
Serve with toasted crackers or hard rolls, iced tomato juice and a light dessert.
