Apple Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. apples, coarsely chopped
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine apples and sugar; let stand.
Beat eggs and add oil and vanilla.
Mix and sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Stir in alternately with apple sugar mixture.
Add walnuts.
Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until cake is done.
Let stand in pan to cool.
Ice with lemon butter icing or whipped cream.
