Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. raisins
    2 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 1/4 c. flour, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
    Stir in raisins, then oats until well blended.
    Gradually stir in flour until blended.
    Use hands if necessary.
    Press 1/4 mixture into 3-inch cookie.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 15 to 17 minutes or less if chewy cookies are preferred.
