White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. Swans Down cake flour
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. cold water
5 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add cup of cold water, alternately with flour in small amounts sifted together with other dry ingredients.
