Lemon Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can evaporated milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
1 1/8 c. boiling water
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. sugar
20 graham crackers
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Chill evaporated milk and a mixing bowl overnight.
Mix together lemon jello, water, lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar.
Let stand until jelly-like.
Take graham crackers and crush.
(Putting into a sealed plastic bag and using a rolling pin over it works well.)
Then mix margarine or butter, sugar and all but 1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs.
Place this mixture in bottom of a serving dish.
Take chilled milk and bowl.
Beat milk in chilled bowl until foamy like cream.
Add jello mixture and mix.
Pour into serving dish on top of crumb mixture.
Refrigerate until firm. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs on top. Serve.
