Hardee'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour (White Lily)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients. Work in shortening until mealy. Mix together yeast and warm water.
    Dissolve well and add to 1 1/2 cups buttermilk.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Mix well, then knead lightly.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Roll out about 1/2 inch thick, butter and overlap dough; cut into your favorite size and bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes.
    Makes about 20 average biscuits.
