Vanilla Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

To serve hot on plain cake squares, mix well the cornstarch, sugar and salt.
Add boiling water and butter; cook until thick, stirring all the time.
Add vinegar and vanilla. Stir well and serve over cake.
