Holiday Morning French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    3 tsp. cinnamon (divided use)
    3 tart apples (such as Granny Smith), peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. dried cranberries or raisins
    1 loaf Italian or French bread, cut into 1-inch slices
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.\tAdd apples and cranberries.
    Toss to coat well. Spread mixture out evenly and arrange bread slices on top.
