Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced carrots or baby small carrots
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. butter
    1 c. Velveeta cheese
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    1 can dried onion rings
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted water for 15 minutes and drain.
    Melt butter; stir in flour and gradually add milk.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
    Put 1/2 of carrots in a
    1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover with 1/2 can of onion rings.
    Repeat process, adding rest of carrots.
    Pour cheese sauce over layers.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/2 of onion rings on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
