Easy Oven - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    5 carrots, pared and cut in 1-inch pieces
    3 potatoes, pared and cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour, salt and pepper; toss with oil in a 3-quart casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
