Waikiki Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed down
    1/3 c. vinegar
    juice from 13 oz. pineapple chunks
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Mix 1st six ingredients together into meatballs and brown in pan in 1 tablespoon shortening.
    When brown, remove from pan, remove grease and keep warm.
    Mix next 5 ingredients.
    Stir until smooth and pour into pan and stir until boiling and let boil 1 minute.
    Then add meatballs with pineapple chunks and peppers, let cook a few more minutes.
