Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Mash 3/4 quart berries. Cook over low heat with sugar and cornstarch until slightly thickened. Slice 1/4 quart remaining berries and combine. Cool.
    Pour into baked pie shell and chill in refrigerator until set. Top with whipped cream before serving.
