Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. cream
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and cream in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Let boil about 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add enough powdered sugar to make of spreading consistency. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Spread over cake.
