Grandma'S Cabbage(Kapusta) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tsp. paprika (optional)
1/2 head cabbage (red or green), sliced
1 to 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
3 to 4 Tbsp. water
salt to taste
Preparation

Saute onion in shortening until tender.
Add paprika and mix well.
Add sliced cabbage, vinegar, water and salt.
Mix.
Cook under low heat until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
