Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 c. chopped broccoli
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded American cheese
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Boil broccoli and onion in water until tender.
Add cheese and salt.
After cheese melts, add milk and stir.
Place in blender and process on medium until blended.
Heat to boiling.
If thicker soup is desired, mix 1/3 cup flour and 1/2 cup water.
Stir into soup.
Cook and stir until soup is the consistency of heavy cream.
