Noodle-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. extremely fine noodles
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. regular uncooked long grain rice
    about 1 c. chicken broth
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    sliced toasted almonds
Preparation
    Saute raw noodles in butter in a saucepan until just golden. Add all other ingredients, except almonds.
    Cover; simmer until rice is done, about 30 minutes, adding a little more broth if necessary to keep rice moist.
    Turn into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
