Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. plain flour
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped fine (pecans, walnuts)
3 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Cream butter and add sugar; beat until smooth.
Add beaten egg yolks and mix well.
Combine the dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and nuts; mix well.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
Good with caramel frosting.
