Texas Straw Hat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 3/4 c. crushed corn chips
    1 c. diced tomatoes
    1 c. shredded lettuce
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion; drain off fat.
    Add water and taco seasoning and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    If mixture becomes dry, add more water. Serve 1/3 cup taco meat and 1/4 cup of cheese over 3/4 cup of corn chips.
    Add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
