Hot Sausage And Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage (hot or sweet), removed from casing
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    3 c. biscuit baking mix
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cook sausage in large skillet until no longer pink, breaking up with fork as you cook.
    (about 8-10 minutes)
    Drain off fat and spoon sausage into large bowl and cool completely.
    Add cheese, biscuit mix and water.
    Mix with a fork until blended.
    Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and brown.
    Remove from baking sheet and cool completely.
    Makes 120 puffs.
