Ingredients

3 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. pineapple tidbits
1 can sliced beets, drained
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and pineapple with its juice in heavy saucepan.
Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Add beets, margarine and lemon juice coating beets with pineapple mixture.
