Mock Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
20 Ritz crackers
dash of cinnamon
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
butter
unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Boil water, sugar and cream of tartar for 2 minutes.
Drop in 20 Ritz crackers (do not stir) and boil for 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
Let cool.
Pour in unbaked pie shell.
Dot with butter and cinnamon.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
