Chewy Noels - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. brown sugar, packed
5 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
confectioners sugar

Preparation

Melt butter in 9-inch square pan over low heat; remove from heat.
Combine eggs, sugar, flour, soda and nuts and mix well. Stir in vanilla and pour into pan over melted butter.
Do not stir mixture.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Turn out of pan; cut into bars.
Dust with confectioners sugar; cool.
Yields 3 dozen bars.
