Ginny'S Tomato-Shrimp Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 large onion, diced
    1 red pepper, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 tsp. garlic
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 can chicken broth and water to equal 3 c.
    1 c. sliced frozen okra
    1 c. chopped, drained canned tomatoes
    1 c. chopped green onions
    2 lb. medium raw shrimp
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Lower heat. Stir flour into drippings, cooking until brown 12 to 15 minutes. Stir in onion, red and green peppers, garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper and thyme.
    Cover and cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Gradually add broth, okra, tomatoes and green onions.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    Stir in peeled, cleaned, raw shrimp.
    Cook 5 minutes more.
    Add bacon.
    Serve on rice.
    Serves 4 to 6.
