Creamy Peach Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. milk
    4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    4 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    4 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. canned drained peaches, cut in small chunks
Preparation
    Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt in large saucepan.
    Combine milk and egg yolks.
    Gradually stir into sugar mixture.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Stir in peaches.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Best when served warm.
