Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour or bread flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can beer (not light beer)
    4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Oil or butter a small or standard loaf pan.
    In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and beer.
    Mix with
    a wooden spoon until well blended and sticky, about 1 minute.
    Pour dough into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the bread from the oven and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake for 30 more minutes until lightly browned on top.
