Barbecue Kielbasa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. smoked kielbasa, cut in 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 c. Open Pit barbecue sauce
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion, halved and sliced
    1 large green pepper, cut in strips
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Brown kielbasa in frypan.
    Combine kielbasa, onions and green pepper in large covered pot or crock-pot.
    Add brown sugar, barbecue sauce and water.
    Simmer, covered, for 1 hour or until kielbasa is tender (longer, if in crock-pot).
