Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large carrots, sliced
    1 medium cabbage, shredded
    1 large onion
    1 large can tomatoes or 1 qt. home canned
    6 c. chicken or beef broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place all ingredients into a large pot.
    Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
