Recipe Of 1985'S Burleson County Kolache(Queen'S Kolaches, Ella Drgac Queen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. dry yeast (2 pkg.)
    2 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Sift flour and set aside.
    Combine salt, Crisco, sugar and milk; scald and set aside.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add eggs to milk mixture after mixture has cooled.
    Pour all mixtures together, except 1/2 cup of flour, and beat until smooth. Dough should be sort of sticky.
    If dough is not too firm, use all of the 6 cups of flour.
    If dough is too firm, do not add the last 1/2 cup of flour.
