Deep Dish Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick oleo, melted
    fruit (canned peaches, or fresh peaches; berries; cherries, Bartlett pears, or whatever fruit you want to use)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour together in baking dish.
    Pour milk into dish slowly, while stirring constantly.
    (If you dump the milk in without stirring, it will be lumpy.)
    Add drained fruit.
    Pour melted butter (or oleo) gently over top of other ingredients. Bake at about 350\u00b0 until browned on top, about 30 to 45 minutes. Pie should be juicy and \"gooey\" on the bottom and crusty on top.
