Homestyle Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    2 lb. ham hocks
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. red vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil.
    Add all ingredients.
    Cover and stir occasionally.
    Cook until cabbage is tender.
    Additional water may be added if needed.
    Cook over low heat, approximately 25 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
