Super Submarine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    salt and pepper
    1 French bread loaf, 24 inches long
    lettuce
    cheese slices, cut into triangles
    red onion rings
    mayonnaise
    soft margarine
    thin ham slices
Preparation
    Combine cabbage and enough mayonnaise to moisten; mix lightly. Season to taste with salt and pepper; chill.
    Cut bread in half lengthwise.
    Spread bottom half of loaf with butter; cover with lettuce, ham, cheese, cabbage mixture, onions and top half of loaf. Garnish with stuffed green olives, if desired.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
