Peach Batter Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can sliced peaches
    1 stick oleo or margarine, melted
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    vanilla to taste
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Line a pan with sliced peaches.
    Make a batter using oleo, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk and vanilla.
    Pour over peaches.
    Mix 1 cup sugar and water and pour over batter.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    If you use self-rising flour, omit baking powder and salt.
