Tangy Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. chili sauce
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 1/2 c. cheese cracker crumbs, divided
    canola oil
Preparation
    Combine beef, egg, chili sauce, onion, salt and pepper with 1 cup cracker crumbs.
    Mix well.
    Shape into tiny meatballs and roll in remaining 1/2 cup cracker crumbs.
    Saute meatballs for 5 minutes in 1/2 inch hot oil, turning to brown all sides.
    Remove to chafing dish and serve with toothpicks.
    Yields about 30 meatballs.
