Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. cooked chicken or turkey
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chives or onions
    8 crescent rolls
    3/4 c. seasoned croutons, crushed
Preparation
    Blend cream cheese and margarine until smooth (reserve 1 tablespoon margarine).
    Add next 6 ingredients; mix well. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles and roll each one a little larger.
    Firmly press perforations to seal.
    Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture in center.
    Pull 4 corners to center.
    Slightly twist to seal edges.
    Brush tops with reserved margarine.
    Dip into crushed croutons.
    Bake in ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
