Cheese Scalloped Potatoes And Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 c. thinly sliced pared potatoes
    1 lb. (2 c.) ham, cut in large chunks
Preparation
    Cook onion in large saucepan until tender.
    Blend in flour, mustard, salt and pepper; gradually stir in milk.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until sauce thickens.
    Add cheese.
    Arrange potatoes in greased 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top with ham. Pour sauce over all.
    Cover with foil; bake at 350\u00b0 for 44 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Serves 4.
