Butter Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qt. popped corn
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. butter (do not use margarine)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Place popped corn in large shallow roasting pan.
In heavy 2-quart saucepan, stir brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt. Stir constantly and bring to boil over medium heat.
Without stirring, boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Pour over popcorn and stir to coat well.
Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven, stirring once every 15 minutes.
Pour popcorn out on large piece of aluminum foil sprayed with vegetable spray.
Break apart as it cools and store in airtight container.
