Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shell macaroni
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, cubed
    1 c. gherkins, sliced
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    2 c. green peas, cooked
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    seasoning to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain. Add oleo and toss lightly.
    Add cheese, pickles, onion and peas. Stir in mayonnaise; blend carefully and make sure macaroni is well mixed.
