Creole Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. rendered bacon fat
    6 Tbsp. minced onion
    6 Tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 clove crushed garlic
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped stewed tomatoes
    1/8 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    7 oz. frozen, peeled and deveined shrimp
Preparation
    In large frying pan, brown flour in bacon drippings.
    Stir tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced onion, green pepper, parsley, garlic, water, salt and pepper into flour-oil mixture.
    Bring sauce to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
    Cook 20 minutes.
    Add shrimp to mixture and cook 10 minutes longer.
