Mexican Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 stick melted butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix eggs, flour, salt, soda, undrained pineapple, 2 cups granulated sugar and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Mix butter, cream cheese and 2 cups of powdered sugar.
    Blend well and pour over top of hot cake.
    Sprinkle with extra nuts, if desired.
