Waldorf Astoria Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 1/4 c. flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
2 eggs

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat.
Add vanilla and milk.
Sift baking powder, flour and cocoa and add to mixture. Fold in chopped nuts.
Bake in three 8 or 9-inch pans.
