Karo Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (room temperature)
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Karo (white or dark)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat the egg whites and salt until foamy.
    Gradually beat in sugar until smooth and glossy.
    Boil the Karo a couple of minutes; pour into egg whites in slow, steady stream while beating.
    Add vanilla.
    This makes a beautiful frosting that is lightly sweetened with a marshmallow texture.
    Work fast with frosting as it sets quickly.
    Is best when used the same day it's made.
