Rum Chocolate Mousse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1/4 c. rum
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix rum and sugar in small saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
    Melt chocolate with 2 tablespoons whipping cream.
    Whip remaining cream.
    Beat egg whites until fluffy.
    Mix in chocolate.
    Then fold all into whipped cream.
    Spoon into 8 serving dishes or for a party, spoon into 10 to 12 five ounce Dixie cups.
    Garnish with chocolate slivers.
