Poor Man'S Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box raisins
2 c. hot water
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
3 c. flour

Preparation

Add the raisins, hot water, sugar and Crisco together; let it come to a boil.
When cool, add cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, soda and flour.
Mix all together.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown for about an hour.
