Blueberry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar, divided
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. fresh blueberries
Preparation
    Grease a 10-inch tube pan with the 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar.
    Cream butter; gradually add balance of sugar.
    Beat after each addition, add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat after each.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Combine 2 3/4 cups flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating until well blended.
    Dredge blueberries with remaining 1/4 cup flour.
    Fold berries into batter.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Cool.
