Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. squash
    1/4 c. water
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. shredded mild or Velveeta cheese
    1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    2 c. cooked rice (optional)
Preparation
    Cook squash in water until tender; drain. Melt butter and add to squash. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Brown beef well with onions in skillet. Season to taste. Mix squash and beef together. Beat eggs and mayonnaise together. Add to beef/squash mixture. Stir well and add cheese. Pour into casserole dish and cover with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown, about 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 4.
