Peppermint'S V-8 Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef
2 Tbsp. chopped garlic or 1 clove
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 medium onion
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. white pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 large cans V-8 juice
salt to taste
1 can pinto beans (do not drain)
1 can kidney beans (do not drain)
1 can chili beans (do not drain)
1 c. wine (any white wine)
1 Tbsp. Tabasco or hot sauce
cheese (optional)
Preparation

Brown hamburger, onion, garlic and parsley; drain.
Return to pot.
Combine all other ingredients.
Simmer for at least 3 hours. Serve with cheese (optional).
