Cinnamon Apple Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
2 c. shredded apples
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.
Add combined dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in apples.
Pour into pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Cool and frost with vanilla icing and sprinkle with nuts.
