Lemon Marinade Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 fryer chickens, halved (2 1/2 to 3 lb. each)
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. basil
    2 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 minced garlic clove or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Place chicken pieces in shallow baking dish.
    Combine all ingredients and pour over chicken.
    Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight, turning chicken often. Place on grill brushing with marinade.
    Grill on each side 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
    Chicken may be cooked in oven at 350\u00b0 approximately 1 hour.
    Serves 6 to 8.
